To celebrate 180 years of Glashütte watchmaking, our manufactory presents a magnificent anniversary edition that combines traditional craftsmanship with the splendour of the stars. With its unusual dial design, finely crafted moon phase and signature Panorama Date, the PanoMaticLunar Anniversary Edition embodies the modern face of Glashütte Original. Limited to 180 pieces, this exquisite watch captivates with its delicately sparkling dial and is housed in a 40 mm diameter platinum case. A blue alligator leather or synthetic strap perfectly rounds off the look.

Shimmering aventurine dial

The deep blue and delicately shimmering dial is made of aventurine, also known as gold flow. First produced in the 17th century by the masters of glass art in Murano, Venice, this material is known for its fine lustre and intense colour. The subtle sparkle is created by fine particles that run through the material and reflect the light. The moon disc is also made of aventurine and blends seamlessly into the dial. Two small dome-shaped mother-of-pearl discs represent the moons rotating on the moon disc.

Heavenly asymmetry

Slim white gold hour and minute hands with SuperLumiNova® coating make their rounds on an off-centre display lined with solid gold indexes. A small seconds dial complements the time display on the left-hand side and is flanked by the typical Panorama Date on the right-hand side, which shows the digits on the two date discs without a dividing bar. At 2 o’clock, the artfully crafted moon phase display reveals a small moon made of white mother-of-pearl.

Reliable precision and everyday usability

The automatic calibre 92 that ticks inside the anniversary edition comes from Glashütte Original’s latest generation of mechanical movements. Its silicon balance spring, which is insensitive to temperature and magnetic fields, and its 100-hour running time guarantee reliable precision and flexible everyday usability. The sapphire crystal case back allows the Glashütte stripe finish on the grey-galvanised three-quarter plate and numerous other traditional decorations to be admired without obstruction.
